Biography
Aquila Simmons is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering doing thermodynamics research with an interest in energy conversion and sustainability. She joined the Atomic Simulation and Energy Lab at MIT as part of the methane pyrolysis group in the fall of 2023. She completed her undergraduate studies at MIT in the spring of 2023 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Theater Arts.
Outside of research she is an avid story teller, orator, and artist.
