Biography
Dr. England completed her Ph.D. at the University of Utah in materials science and has worked previously as a microscopist and also as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Rochester. She joined the ASE group at Georgia Tech in 2013 and served as a lab manager and senior research engineer until the group moved to MIT. Dr. Diane England has extensive experience in high temperature systems design, construction and testing. Prior to joining GT she led the high temperature solid oxide fuel cells group at Delphi for 12 years. She is a high temperature materials expert and has been awarded a number of patents for the development of high temperature brazes for refractory materials.
